Collaborative Provision

Collaborative Provision

The Department is involved with collaborative provision in two main areas:

1. Validation

The Department validates a number of courses, offered at other institutions, but which lead to a University of Hull award.

In validating courses, the University judges that the programme delivered by another institution or organisation is of appropriate quality and standard to lead to the University’s award.

Programmes currently validated by the Department are:

  • BSc (Hons) Integrated Technology top up degree delivered by Doncaster College on either a full time or part-time basis;
  • BSc (Hons) Business Computing top up degree delivered by Doncaster College on either a full-time or part-time basis;
  • BSc (Hons) Computing top up degree delivered by Grimsby Institute for Further and Higher Education on a full-time or part-time basis;
  • FDSc Internet Computing delivered by Doncaster College on either a full-time, part-time or part-time (fast track) basis;
  • FDSc e-Business delivered by Doncaster College on either a full-time, part-time or part-time (fast track) basis.

2. Entry with Advanced Standing Agreements

The Department currently has an agreement with INTI College Malaysia, for students following a diploma or degree programme in computing for entry with advanced standing to either the second or final year of our BSc degree programmes at the Hull campus.
