Games MSc Equipment and Laboratories

This picture shows the front section of the MSc Games lab. The laboratory is restricted to use by the MSc students. The PC's are currently (2003 session) 2.8G Pentium, with 1Gb Ram and ATI 9800 graphics cards. These are updated annually.

This picture shows the back section of the MSc Games lab. There are currently 24 workstations in the lab. There are 22 students on the course. (2003)

This picture shows the back of the MSc Games lab with the two games cabinets. These are both JAMMA compatible cabinets and the games are rotated throughout the year. The collection of games includes.

Space Invaders 90, Galaga 88, Galaxians, Defender, Soul Edge, Bomb Jack , Scramble, R-Type, and many more.......

This picture shows a view from the back of the MSc Games lab. This shows the Nintendo Game Cube development kits. There are nine GC Dev kits installed in the lab at the moment. Plus the full Dolphin SDK and Pro debugging tools. The Game Cube development hardware and software have been supplied by SN systems.
