Taught MSc Admissions

You should have, or expect to obtain, a good honours degree, or equivalent, in computing,  or be able to demonstrate a significant level of computing experience. Please note that appropriate experience is essential as these are advanced courses.

Admissions Procedure

You should complete an application form and send it to the University OR apply online.

You need to send the reference forms to your referees and ensure that they complete them, and return them to the University, promptly. It is very helpful to have your email address (if you have one), particularly if we require further information, as this speeds up the process. Please quote your email address on your application form (somewhere within the address panel is fine). We try to reply to applicants within four weeks of receiving an application form. The reply will be one of the following:

  • an unconditional offer of a place on the programme
  • a conditional offer of a place on the programme
  • a request for further information to help assess the application
  • a rejection of the application

Examples of a conditional offer might include satisfactory references, achieving a particular level in a degree result, etc. Any formal offer will be sent to you by the University's Admissions Office.
