MSc Computer Graphics Programming

This programme aims to develop interest in, and a detailed knowledge and understanding of computer graphics and its deployment in advanced graphical systems. Students will be well prepared to shape future developments in the field and to make substantial contributions to the design and creation of application software employing computer graphics. The programme aims to encourage innovation, and foster initiative, enabling students to learn independently, and to gather information for themselves. MSc Games Programming

The programme aims to provide students with a broad education in computer game design, development and technology, with a special emphasis on the programming of computer games. Students will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a successful career in industries specialising in the creation and distribution of leisure and entertainment computing technologies; they will be able to promote innovation and creativity assisted by rapid technological change. The programme aims to introduce the theoretical, intellectual, creative and dynamic aspects of computing using the vehicle of computer games development methods and techniques. MSc Computer Science

The aim of this degree programme is to provide students who have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science with the opportunity to study to master's level in this subject. Students enrolling on this degree should have a degree in computer science or a related discipline. One distinctive feature of this degree will be the opportunity for students to get industrial experience through SEED - a software development company embedded within the department.

 

.NET MSc in Distributed Systems Development

This programme covers the theory and practice of distributed computing and gives students the practical skills needed to participate fully in large-scale commercial software development. Developed in conjunction with Microsoft, this course gives students in-depth experience of working with the .NET platform. It delivers highly-marketable skills to students, putting them in a strong position to shape the future of distributed computing.
